Looks like Microsoft is finally ready to combat Chromebooks (who have been dominating the education market) w/ their own cloud-based Windows laptops. They’ve teamed up with HP to create the Stream laptops. Arriving in a 11.6inch and 13.3inch size models.
This is Microsoft’s response to Chromebooks.
The Stream laptops come equipped w/ dual-core Intel Celeron CPUs, fanless designs, HD displays, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage w/ microSD card slot, 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, a 1-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, and a $25 gift card to use for apps or games. The 11.6-inch Stream will be priced for $200 and the 13.3-inch Stream for $230. Both will be available in November.
