Samsung has yet another flagship shooter w/ their latest NX1 Smart Camera. Previously the NX series has been more consumer-based w/ smaller mirrorless shooter and as of the past year or so. Samsung has been making strides to offer a lot more and better compete against the regular camera companies.
Samsung is taking cameras very seriously and you should consider them too.
This mirrorless shooter looks similar to the awesome NX30 but w/ much beefier internals. You now have a 28MP backside illuminated sensor, a new 205-point autofocus system, ISO up to 25,600, the ability to shoot @15fps continuous shooting, and the lovely addition of shooting video in either UHD @24fps or 4K @30fps.
Other than that, you still have an OLEF viewfinder, a 3inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, geotagging abilities, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 3.0 for super-fast sharing to your smartphone or other devices.
The NX1 starts at $1,499 for the body only and becomes available in mid-October. Also announced was a new, high-end 50-150mm f/2.8 lens which cost $1,599.
