While everyone is ramping up for the new Apple iPads w/ the event kicking off later on today, they may have messed up. Yesterday, the folks over at 9to5Mac spotted a slip up in iTunes as the iOS 8.1 iPad Guide had images of the new iPads within the iBooks app. This leak shows off the official iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.
The new leak pretty much confirms what we already know for the most part w/ the addition of Touch IDs. The guide also shows off the Burst Mode arriving to the Camera app on the iPad as well as the possibility of Apple Pay. Other than that, the word of a new Gold color option, a faster A8X CPU, and a better camera.
Other than that, we’re expected to see the official launch of Yosemite coming to all things OS X and the strong possibility of a Retina MacBook Air and/or a Retina iMac. Everything kicks off at 1PM EST. We’ll keep you guys informed as the news becomes official.
