If you haven’t noticed in the Play Store yet, many of your Google apps are updating w/ new features or just the new Material Design look to it. This morning Google announced a big update for Play Books. This is one that will be huge for its readers and users.
Most of all of the cooler features are already present when reading standard books while others have been overlooked. That ends soon. This new version touts a better experience for nonfiction. You can now jump in between spots of text, faster annotation browsing, new table of contents, quick bookmarks, and skim mode which allows you to browse pages zoomed out to peruse for content.
So if you don’t have it yet, be on the lookout as it had begun to roll out.
