Yesterday, Sony unveiled their new flagship smartphone w/ the Xperia Z3v. Bringing it only to Verizon as an exclusive. But adds more functionality + features to the mix that’s not on the Z3.
The Z3v brings you many features like a 5.2inch 1080p display, powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 20.7MP sensor, a 3200 mAh battery, and Qi wireless charging. Sony has its usual slightly modified stock version of Android and it runs smooth. Its waterproof as it can be kept under 4.9ft of water for up to 30 minutes.
Sony comes in the 4th quarter w/ a delightful surprise w/ the Z3v.
There are tons of great Sony software inside. As you can broadcast live to YouTube, pair w/ another Z3v and show dual cameras from 2 different phone perspectives, record your phone movements using screenshare, and supports Remote Play gaming via PlayStation 4.
The Z3v felt great and I was surprised by how much I liked the device. It felt great in hand. Not super-thin but not a thick brick either. Lovely display and good camera. Looking forward to testing more of this in the very near future.
