Earlier today, Google began rolling out their 1st big update for the wearable software: Android Wear. We already discussed about what the update would entail and it is finally here. It is focused on fitness as you can now access GPS and music whether you’re online or off. This now allows you to access music directly from your smartwatch’s storage and take advantage of playing tunes via Bluetooth headphones as well.
This also adds the ability for the watch to tap into GPS sensors. Thus far, the only Android Wear piece that has built-in GPS is the forthcoming Sony Smart Watch 3. Allowing you to use apps like Golfshot and My Tracks.
