Welcome to our new feature called 'What's On Your Phone?'. Here is where we and other tech enthusiasts will unlock our devices to highlight our essential apps and/or cases we use on our daily driver(s).
I'm Jason Anderson, an Bronx native and I've been interested in technology all of my life. What started off as just tinkering with the family's VCR became a life long love of tech. Now I strive to stay at the forefront of what new in technology, be it the latest smartphone, tablet, or wearable device. Or just staying knowledgeable of various web, mobile, or consumer services in the technology space, I like to keep up to date with what is happening out there.
By day I'm an Infrastructure Technician in IT on the enterprise side of things, but when not there I run a consumer technology website called G Style Magazine. At G Style we cover a wide range of consumer facing products like smartphones, tablets, wearables, and general service surrounding these devices. Our niche is rooted however in fashion and style. We search out what is fashionable, trendy, stylish in consumer electronics, and bring you what is cool in technology. G Style Magazine has been in operation some 9 years come this October and we will continue bringing people what is fashionable in technology.
Google Music All Access
If I'm out and about commuting there is a 95% possibly that I'm listening to music while doing so. I need music for my insanity on the streets of New York, so I use this app daily!
Pulse
Fitbit
I'm really big on trying to lose weight and stay fit now, and one app I use quite regularly now is Fitbit. I track all of my steps and use it as a gauge of how I'm doing for the day or week.
Evernote
You never know when a thought or idea you want to save for later may pop in your head. Because of this I use Evernote often to jot down notes or ideas I want to explore later or just so I don't forget them. Then the ability to review them across any device I'm use is a plus!
