Note 4 camera test 2

On the road to our full review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, we go to tackle the camera department to see how well it handles on the performance side of things.  While Samsung + the Note series are known for having great shooters.  The rear-facing shooter on the Note 4 is a f/2.0 16MP Sony Exmor sensor now w/ Smart OIS (Optical image Stabilization).  While many other manufacturers have stepped up their optical performance we look forward to seeing if the Notes can outdo the competition.  Let's get started.

"This is easily the best shooter in Android right now."

Samsung absolutely nailed it with this one.  The 16MP performs beautifully.  That combined w/ the camera software + rendering, you get great photos damn-near all of the time.  You fast iPhone-like rendering as it gets great results just about every single time.   Great ISO while the color reproduction comes muted ever-so slightly.  While there is a bit of delay in shutter speeds in low-light, you still get great photos in dark conditions.  Even though it has a single-LED flash in a world of dual ones, it is super-bright and holds up well in a variety of situations.  The shooter on the Note 4 is ideal for great photos to be blown up as well as for social media snapshots.

Alongside the optimal sensor you got 4K, time-lapse, slow-motion video w/ manual options at your disposal as well.  Above the G3 and all of the others, the Note 4 holds the new crown.  This is easily the best shooter in Android right now.  Perhaps by the next Galaxy S or next Note, they might be the best in all platforms.  Time will tell.
