Lenovo has returned to kick off 2015 right w/ a lovely refresh of a fan-favorite: the X1 Carbon. This marks the 3rd-generation of the flagship ThinkPad laptop as it has got new bells + whistles to go along w/ it.
Now even lighter as it weighs in at just under 2.9lbs w/ its carbon-forged chassis, the X1 Carbon is a 14inch ultrabook powerhouse. It now sports a brightly-lit FHD display, an even faster SSD for storage, longer battery life, and powered by a new 5th-gen Intel Core CPU. All of this helps to keep the tradition of high-end ThinkPads moving forward. We loved the 2nd-generation X1 when we reviewed it as we are definitely looking forward to seeing what the 2015 edition will perform like.
The new 2015 variants of the X1 Carbon will start at $1249 and will be available for purchase this month.
