Remember the LG G Flex? It was a great display of technology + innovation from LG despite a few shortcomings (720p display ahem). Leading up to CES, there was word of the sequel arriving and it is now official. Enter the G Flex 2.
LG is back w/ a curved vengeance this time w/ the G Flex 2.
The new curved display device from LG will offer a 5.5inch 1080p curved P-OLED display, powered by Qualcomm’s new 64-bit 2.0GHz Snapdragon 810 CPU, 2GB of RAM, running Android 5.0 Lollipop w/ LG’s custom UI, 16 or 32GB of storage, micro SD slot, the same rear 13MP shooter w/ OIS+ & Laser Auto Focus seen in the G3, and a fast-charging 3000 mAh battery.
On the software side, LG wanted to add a few tricks to help it stand out a bit. Like Gesture Shot which allows you to take a selfie by using a simple hand gesture. Gesture View allows you to see your last photo by a flick of your wrist. Glance View allows you to see your important info/notifications w/ a downward swipe – this will work w/ the screen off.
