We’re already expecting slightly modified iPhones this year w/ the 6S & 6S Plus. But something we may not have anticipated was the return of the plastic, candy-coated iPhone C models. According to a report by DigiTimes, we could see that being added to the mix.
Don’t expect it to be within the same league as its bigger brethren like the iPhone 5C previously. It is expected to be powered by a A8 CPU, be equipped w/ Touch ID + NFC to support Apple Pay, and an 8MP rear shooter w/ no OIS of course. All of this in a 4inch display + body used during the iPhone 4 through 5S. But keep in mind, this may or may not happen. Apple may stick w/ just the 2 newer models and sell the 6 at a lower price point.
