We know that Apple’s new music-streaming service is on the way and set to be unveiled next month at WWDC. But as we get closer, it seems like more & more details come to light about it.
Think of it as Ping for artists.
According to the folks over at 9to5Mac, Apple looks to take another shot at social networking features w/ the service. I know, I know. Everyone starts rolling their eyes when they think about Apple being social as the uselessness of Ping comes to mind. Let’s hope this time around it will be a lot better.
The music service will allow artists to have their own pages within the service. This will allow artists to post track samples, photos, videos, and concert updates. This option will only be the artists as consumers can only view it w/ the option to hide the activity as well.
WWDC is only a few short weeks away so wait won’t be too long as well as there’s still time for more info to leak out.
