Microsoft just announced the 7 different versions of Windows 10 coming to market later this year. From Home to Pro to Enterprise to Education and more. One of the notable names missing was Windows Phone but instead we saw Windows 10 Mobile.
That’s right. Microsoft’s original name for their mobile platform returns. The cool thing about this is that is will run the same native apps on Windows 10 for your desktop but smaller & optimized for smartphones & tablets. You will also have the ability to utilize Continuum, which is like Apple’s Continuity where you can hand-off apps/tasks from your mobile device to your Windows 10 computer.
No word on exactly when Windows 10 Mobile will make its way to compatible & newer devices but we’ll keep you updated.
