Looks like the rumors were true about Twitch getting some competition in the game livestreaming marketplace. Today, Google unveiled YouTube Gaming.
This will be about your favorite games and gamers that gives 25,000 games their own page along w/ the best videos and livestreams about that game. You get access to features like 60fps streaming, game DVR, and converts your stream into a YouTube video like it does w/ Hangouts on Air. In case you were wondering, it will be separate form YouTube so you won’t have to worry about coming up non-gaming search results.
The app will be available on Android, iOS, and the web that is broken down into 3 sections of games, feeds, and channels. It will be available sometime this summer in the US and UK kicking things off. So who’s looking forward to signing up and giving this a try?
