Looks like Sony didn’t want Microsoft to have all of the fun giving their gamers more storage. Earlier this morning, they unveiled the PS4 Ultimate Player Edition w/ a 1TB HD instead of the standard 500GB. But there’s a little bit more to it than that.
The Ultimate Player Edition PS4 will weigh in about 10% lighter & utilizing 8% less power than previous PS4 models. The HD area will now have a matte finish instead of the shinier ones. The new version will arrive in both Black & White colors. No word on pricing as of yet but it is expected to launch around July 15th.
This of you on the fence about going from a PS3 to the next-gen console, now is a perfect time to upgrade.
