We already told you about Tag Heuer’s plans to enter the smartwatch arena by teaming up w/ Intel for an Android Wear watch. TH’s CEO recently revealed the name for its digital timepiece over the weekend. It will be called the Carrera Wearable 01.
Although it will be an Android Wear timepiece, it will still retain the Tag Heuer DNA of watchmaking into it. It will be modeled after the Carrera Heuer 01 which was recently unveiled at Baseworld a few months back. The Carrera 01 is supposed to be upgradeable making it a timeless piece that will last you a lifetime and can be passed down.
That news is actually good to hear and definitely helps justify the rumored $1,400 price tag it is supposed to carry. So now w/ all of this info revealed, its time to start saving up for it.
