While the big Comic-Con announcements have yet to be unveiled just yet, we did get some Xbox One news from it already. The folks over at Polygon was attending San Diego Comic-Con and the Gears Of War producer Rod Fergusson made a cool announcement coming soon to Microsoft’s next-gen console.
Starting on August 25th, all Xbox One consoles will ship w/ a free copy of Gears Of War Ultimate Edition. They will be available at select retailers as well as your local Microsoft Store. It will be a downloadable code for the game instead of an actual physical copy. It’ll also come w/ a multiplayer skin for Augustus Cole in his football uniform and everything along w/ beta access to Gears of War 4 beta.
All of this for the standard console pricing of $349.99 that comes w/ a 500GB (not the 1TB) HD and a single controller. If you’re a Gears of War fan and you don’t have an Xbox One yet, this is the bundle for you.
