Also at PAX Prime this weekend, Razer also unveiled a new customizable controller for the Xbox One w/ their new Wildcat controller. This guy is aimed at the tournament styled pro-gamer or those who just want more control while playing first person shooter.
Meet Razer’s version of the Xbox Elite controller.
The Wildcat is more or less an alternative to Microsoft’s Elite controller. Razer’s version is equipped w/ extra buttons that come in the form of 2 bumpers & 2 triggers. The triggers are pretty much the same as your standard controller but this one has 2 different stops. You also have 4 quick buttons that handles all of the sound and button management as well as a 3.5mm audio jack now in the newer Xbox One controllers. The Wildcat is also 0.57 pounds making it lighter than 20% of other gaming sticks. This is thanks to the thumb sticks being made of carbon steel and the trigger from aircraft grade aluminum.
The Wildcat is due out also in October for $149.99. Although this is a wired controller, I am definitely curious to see what this is all about.
