We’re only a little over one week away from seeing all there is to know about the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. The sources over at Droid-Life, got their hands on the forthcoming Note 5. We can see that the premium look as the previous rumors and specs are on the nose but unfortunately it confirms 2 of the features missing that we were hoping weren’t true.
Looks like a removable battery & expandable storage is becoming a thing of the past on flagship smartphones.
So the Galaxy Note 5 will NOT have a microSD card slot or a removable battery. Bummer. Insert sadface emoji here. Now the Note will arrive in 3 different storage sizes: 32GB, 64GB, 128GB. Also, the battery is only a 3000 mAh inside so hopefully it will last as long as previous Notes and not as bad as the Galaxy S6.
So apparently going premium has their sacrifices or Samsung is looking to make more $$$ by going the Apple route. We’ll be live in NYC next week to see everything it has to offer.
