After a few setbacks and a delayed launch, Tesla’s 3rd vehicle is finally seeing the light of day. Enter the Model X: consider this Tesla’s vision for a 7-passenger SUV/crossover. This is another all-wheel drive vehicle w/ Falcon Wing rear doors that folds up for access to 3rd-row seating.
…and then there were 3 Tesla vehicles on the road.
If you used to frequent your local Tesla dealer/store, you’ve seen it before it was removed. The Model X will begin rolling out next month in September. Now don’t anticipate a huge launch as it will only be a small number that’s expected to sometime this quarter. The X will be assembled at their Fremont, California plant alongside the Model S.
For those of you interested, you can head over to the Tesla site to reserve yours. Keep in mind, those of you who do won’t see it until early 2016 though and requires a $5,000 reservation payment.
