As we previously told you about it, Dell’s take on Microsoft’s Surface has arrived. Introducing the Dell XPS: their 2-in-1 PC w/ amazing features/specs.
The XPS 12 offers a 12.5inch 1080p or 4K InfinityEdge touchscreen w/ 3840 x 2160 resolution last seen on the XPS 13, powered by Intel’s latest 2.7GHz Core M CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera + 5MP front-facing camera, choice of 128GB or 256GB SSD, Intel HD graphics, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and a SD card slot. On the keyboard side of things, you have a backlit keyboard + precision trackpad. The XPS 12 offers pressure-sensitive support for a stylus to work w/ enterprise software.
The tablet connects to the keyboard via magnetically. Other than not using a more powerful chipset, this is a super-interesting device. The XPS 12 starts at $1000 and comes out in November.
