Along w/ the Droid Turbo 2, Motorola & Verizon made the Maxx 2 official. I know I did as well as some of you guys saw this coming as this the Moto X Play – in every way, shape, & form.
If you are unfamiliar w/ the X Play, think of it has a premium mid-range device and that’s only due to the processor inside. It has a 5.5inch 1080p display w/ 403ppi, powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage expandable via up to 128GB via microSD, a 3630 mAh battery that will get you 48-hours of battery life, NFC, the same 21MP rear-facing camera w/ dual LED flash as on the latest Moto X but this 5MP front-facing shooter doesn’t have a flash.
It will also be available on October 29th alongside the Turbo 2. The Maxx 2 will have a lower price point as it will have a retail price of $384 or $16 monthly.
