t-mo binge onYesterday, T-Mobile kicked off Un-Carrier X on the west coast.  The biggest deal that came out of this one was something we kind of saw coming:  the ability to stream video w/o it counting towards your monthly data.  Welcome to Binge On.

Now let’s get more specific as it won’t be just any video but select video streaming partners.  So if you frequently use apps like AT&T’s DirecTV, Crackle, Duopoly, Encore, ESPN, Fox Sports, Fox Sports Go, HBO Now, HBO Go, Hulu, MLB, Movieplex, NBC Sports, Netflix, Sling TV, Sling Box, SHOWTIME, STARZ, T-Mobile TV, Univision Deportes, Ustream, Vessel, Vevo, VUDU, and Verizon’s Go90.

So this is like T-Mo’s Music Freedom but for video.   It is worth noting that it will stream in 480p BTW.  If you want a higher quality, you will move out of Binge On and you will start tapping into your data.  No wrod on YouTube but the T-Mo’s CEO says to stay tuned.  This will kick off officially on November 15th for all T-Mo subscribers.
