Ever since Google unveiled Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it has been pretty quiet in regards to manufacturer updates for it. We got HTC offering it on their latest One A9 and on the latest Nexus devices. Other than that, not many companies unveiled new support for it. OnePlus made sure to let us know that they’re on it to get it to their devices.
So at the moment, we ‘re looking at early next year for mosgt of their devices. Cyanogen OS will be looking to update the OnePlus One to Android 6.0 within the 1st quarter of 2016. The OnePlus 2 is also looking at a 1st quarter of next year. The OnePlus 2 will make great use of Marshmallow’s fingerprint support. As far as the recently-announced OnePlus X, they have yet to offer a timeline for it as of yet but it will come to it eventually.
