If you are familiar w/ Hyundai’s Genesis line, you know its not really a new line. This Genesis in particular is though. Introducing the new luxury line of vehicles under the Genesis line starting w/ the G90.
The G90 is the Hyundai Equus evolved.
Hyundai’s luxury sedan is equipped w/ the best of the best. Wood grain dash, Nappa leather interior, power seats, speakers all over the place, ventilation system to keep fresh air in the cabin of the car, Qi wireless charging for your smartphones, heads up display, a 1MP rear camera for parking w/ much of the tech controlled by control knob on the center console.
It will arrive in 2 versions: a high-end & low-end. The top tier has a direct-injected 5.0-liter V8 engine pushing up to 420hp while the entry-level has a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 capable of 365hp. Both will be rear-wheel drive w/ options for all-wheel drive as well.
This is only the beginning as Hyundai has plans for multiple Genesis vehicles by 2020 – 6 to be exact. Up next is a smaller executive sedan w/ the G80 and a sports sedan w/ the G70. They will share the same design language along w/ a rear wheel drive train.
