While we are still a few months away from Google I/O, there have already been inklings of what we can expect from the next version of Android. The folks over at Android Police did some mockups based on info given by their sources on the new notification shade & quick settings layout.
As you can see above, Android N might bring a more refined version of the drawer. This brings you a new look at the cards as well as the option to access quick settings like Wi-Fi, Flashlight, Do Not Disturb toggles accessible w/o having to swipe again to view the full Quick Settings layout. Speaking of Quick Settings in full, looks like Google is ready for their UI Tuner for all to experience. It allows users to completely customize Quick Settings, from what Settings are there to their exact placement of them.
And this is only the beginning of what there is to know about Android N. What do you guys think thus far? Any thoughts on what the N in Android N will stand for?
