Earlier today, Google & Vizio unveiled their new HDTVs w/ their P-Series. What makes this so different you might ask? This new line has built-in Google Cast support removing the need for a Chromecast to share content on your screen instead of your typical Smart TV abilities.
The P-Series will ship w/ a full 6inch 1080p Android tablet that will completely replace your remote control. The tablet is powered by a V8 octa-core CPU, integrated stereo speakers, 16GB of storage, and running Lollipop. It still runs like a regular tablet where you still have access to the Play Store and all. But be mindful that your smartphone & tablet can still be utilized to handle all of your Google Casting features.
In regards to the actual TV, you have a Full-Array LED backlighting w/ up to 128 Active LED Zones that automatically adjusts to on-screen content for deeper blacks & better contrast. The entire P-Series arrives w/ 4K resolution that offers High Dynamic Range w/ Dolby Vision to really offer a remarkable entertainment experience or at least, that’s what Vizio hopes for anyways.
You’ll have a 50inch for $1000, 55inch for $1,300, 65inch for $2,000, and a 75inch for $3,800. The Vizio P-Line is available starting now at your local Best Buy and Vizio.com.
