Kia is kicking things off for the 2016 New York International Show w/ a new-and-improved version of their luxury vehicle: the Cadenza. This marks the 2nd-generation of the Cadenza as they add more refinements & technology into the mix.
The new Cadenza is made w/ the ‘simplicity of the straight line’ as described via Kia w/ Z-shaped lighting signatures in the headlights & LED tail lights. Brandishing a more notable presence while on the road. You have 2 different grilles to choose from w/ the ‘Diamond Butterfly’ (3-D pattern in a concave shape) for the lower trims & the ‘Intaglio’ (vertically blades)for the higher trims.
Inside, it is powered by a 3.3liter V6 FWD 8-speed automatic transmission w/ 290HP. You got a HUD (Heads Up Display) that shows info like speed & navigation directions on the windshield. The entertainment is provided by Kia’s UVO system which offers both Android Auto & Apple CarPlay support. You also have a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon system w/ Clari-Fi technology as an additional option. And lastly, Kia added lane departure & blindspot warnings along w/ collision alerts & automatic braking.
The 2nd-gen Cadenza is set to go on-sale in late 2016, and pricing will be announced later.
