This morning, Google & HP partnered up once again to do great things – once again. This time around, we have the all-aluminum HP Chromebook 13. It is powerful and reminiscent of last year’s Chromebook Pixel in design.
The 1st Chromebook to sport a Core M chipset.
It is only 0.5inches thick and weighs in at 2.86lbs made completely of anodized brushed aluminum build. It sports a 13.3inch display w/ the options of a 1080p or a 3200 x 1800 QHD panel, powered by Intel’s 6th-gen Core m7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, dual speakers powered by Bang & Olufsen (B&O Play), up to 11.5 hours of battery life, a 720p webcam, and charges via USB-C.
Although it is truly powerful, it is geared to offer great consumer & business solutions. You have the options for HP’s Elite USB-C Docking station & port replicator that adds dual display ports + extra USB 3.0 ports. With Android apps making their way to Chrome OS, it might be the best time to get onboard the Chromebook train.
The HP Chromebook 13 pricing starts at $499 w/ pre-orders starting off today and launches in May.
