Earlier today, Google unveiled a new keyboard for iOS devices called Gboard. Yes, Gboard. So you might ask what’s so different between this and the standard Google Keyboard? Quite a bit, actually.
Think of it as Google Now On Tap in a keyboard format for iPhones.
So other than your standard keyboard layout and gesture typing, you have the power of Google search built inside so having to go to the Google app while messaging or sending an email will be a lot less. You can knock out regular google searches as well as images, GIFs, & emojis and inserted into your text box. All of this w/o having to go into the Google app.
The app is available right now for iOS and it will make its way to Android in the near future as well. Who’s interested in giving this for a spin?
