A new year means a new year of Madden. This time around we have the New England Patriots-own tight end, Rob Gronkowski, gracing the cover this year.
This year’s Madden will focus on offense, defense, and special teams. On the running section, they’re separating moves into different tiers so they can be linked to players’ ratings. AI improvements to areas like gap play, zone coverage and field edge protection. And special teams gets a revamped kick meter allowing you to block kicks and add trick plays into the mix. Everything else form last year will remain w/ moderate enhancements as well.
Madden 17 is set to arrive to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on August 23rd. I hope the alleged Madden cover curse isn’t still active. I bet Rob does as well.
