Say hello to the newness in wireless from Bose w/ 4 new products: 2 out today and the other 2 later this year. Last week, we got a chance to get a sneak peek at everything Bose has announced today. Introducing the wireless QuietComfort 35 headphones, the wireless in-ear QuietComfort 30s w/ controllable noise-cancellation, and their new in-ear SoundSport line made for fitness.
The QC 35s are a nice upgrade to the QC 25 line as they add Bluetooth wireless functionality into the mix of noise-cancelling. This now gives you a wire-free audio experience along w/ NFC pairing, controls on the right earcup, and a 20-hour battery life. All of this w/o sacrificing the stellar Bose audio quality it is known for.
Bose recorded noise for a busy subway station in Boston to test against its noise-cancelling abilities along w/ music. Everything appears to be intact in regards to premium audio quality is concerned. If you use the 3.5mm audio cable to get up to 40-hours of juice. When the battery completely runs out, you can still use them but you won't be able to block out the noise, though. The QuietComfort 35s are out now and will cost you $350 everywhere Bose products are sold.
Bose isn't done yet, they got something else for you who may prefer the in-ear approach. Next up, we have the QuietComfort 30s. These also wireless but go around your neck like the LG Tone series of Bluetooth headphones. Along w/ the Bose sound, what makes these special are the option of controllable noise cancellation. So instead of an on/off switch, you'll have the option to turn it on a little, a lot, medium, all the up or all the way down. The QC30s won't arrive until September and will cost you $299.
And lastly, Bose has got something just for you fitness folks w/ the SoundSport earbuds. You won't have any noise-cancelling abilities on board but Bose sound while you run will have to do. There is an advanced version of the SoundSport that has a built-in heart-rate monitor and can send fitness data to apps like RunKeeper and such. The standard version of the SoundSport is out now for $149 while the advanced version is set to arrive in September for $199.
