We’re not exactly sure on how many Nexus devices are set to arrive for 2016 as both LG & HTC claim to be involved. The 2 devices that are expected have codenames of Sailfish & Marlin. Some of the specs have unearthed on the reported 5inch Sailfish device by HTC.
Thanks to the folks over at Android Police, got a scoop on exactly what to expect for the device. So we’re looking at a smaller nexus w/ a 5inch 1080p display, powered by a quad-core 2GHz 64-bit CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 12MP shooter on the rear + a 8MP shooter in front, USB-C, fingerprint reader, headphone jack on top, and a 2770 mAh battery inside.
Even though HTC kicked off the Nexus devices w/ the Nexus One, they haven’t participated until the Nexus 9 tablet a few years back. Definitely looking forward to see what the 2016 Nexus devices will look like and have to offer. How about you?
