Interesting how the days of the 2-year contracts are basically over and phone-leasing is in. This morning, you can now pick up what we think are the best Android has to offer unlocked: the Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge.
The unlocked versions of the S7/S7 Edge will work on all carriers local and abroad for GSM + CDMA networks as well. You’ll be able to grab them on Samsung’s site and then later at various retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and more. The US versions of the unlocked S7 will offer up the Snapdragon 820 instead fo the Exynos chipset. Other than that, you got 4GB of RAM, 12MP rear shooter, 5.1inch QHD Super AMOLED on the S7 and a 5.5inch QHD Super AMOLED on the S7 Edge.
The S7 will cost you $670 and the S7 Edge will cost you $770. So who’s picking one up?
