Today is the day you finally get your hands on or at least demo the latest Droids from Verizon w/ the Moto Z & Moto Z Force. Moto’s take on modularity has made their way into their newest flagship Android devices.
Both devices off a 5.5inch QHD AMOLED display panel, powered by Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage expandable via microSD, running Android 6.0.1, fingerprint reader, and a USB-C replacing your audio jack. The only real differences between the 2 is that the Droid Force offers the 2nd-gen ShatterShield glass, a longer battery life (3500 mAh vs 2600 mAh), and a 21MP rear-shooter instead of the 16MP on the standard Z.
At launch, you’ll have 4 Moto Mod options to choose from: Backplate, Power Pack, JBL SoundBoost speaker, and the Insta-Share projector. They all snap on/off really easily thanks to the 16 pins & a magnet on the bottom rear of the device.
In our take on the 2 devices, we loved them in our review as they both offer amazing batteries. But loved the Z Force a bit more thanks to its longer battery life, slightly better camera & ShatterShield screen. The Z will cost you $624 at full price and $26 per month while the Z Force will cost you $720 at full price and $30 per month. So which one are you going for?
