Announced a few hours ago, EA is just about ready to take their upcoming Battlefield 1 to the main stage w/ a beta version. Their FPS set in World War 1 will have a public beta kicking off on August 31st for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Battlefield 1 is more of a slightly alternative verison of WW1 but rooted in actual history. So you’ll have horses and swords along w/ tanks and planes within the same war/game. The beta will include both Rush & Conquest game modes which will offer a variety of classes, weapons, and vehicles of up to 64 players.
To get down w/ the beta, you’ll have to sign up as a Battlefield Insider for free before August 21st and you’re in. The game itself is due out on October 21st in case you’re interested but have yet to pre-order your copy yet.
