iPad ProAccording the latest statistics, tablets are dying or are more or less dead.  The heralded iPad was also included as the sales for it have declined although it is still kicking strong in the enterprise sector.  Apple is working on changing that next year along w/ their iPad lineup.

According to the latest report from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, we will see not one nor two but three new iPad Pro sizes for 2017.  We will see a new 12.9inch iPad Pro along w/ a 10.5inch and a budget 9.7inch model.  This would keep the 12.9inch as the premium model w/ the high-end internals/specs and the 10.5inch being more of the mid-level one geared towards the enterprise & education markets.  Both sizes would offer Apple’s A10X CPU while the cheaper 9.7inch Pro will sport the A9X CPU.  No mention of a new iPad mini.  We can only presume that it would get a moderate refresh, if that.  Even possible that it would get dropped eventually.

And lastly, 2018 would bring forth a new ‘Revolutionary iPad’.  This would offer a new design & form-factor thanks to a flexible AMOLED panel.  Maybe a iPad done in the style of the Galaxy S7 Edge or Note 7?  Who knows at this point?  Would any of this even interest you in buying a new iPad in the near future?
