OMEN X frontHP isn’t done beefing up their gaming rigs as they introduce a new member of the Omen line of products w/ the Omen X desktop.  Yes, the glowing cube designed as a computer that you see above is their new PC.  

Not only is it designed to be a bit of a work of art, it is designed to be powerful enough to tackle 4K + high-end VR gaming.  Along w/ all of that it will be upgradeable as much as your wallet can handle.  The entry level model will ship w/ a Core i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 2TB HD + 256GB SSD, liquid cooling, a AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card w/ 4GB of RAM, and 10USB ports (8 USB 3.0 + 2 USB-C).  Of course, you can max it out to dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 cards or dual AMD Radeon R9 Fury X cards.

The case itself, which is made by MAINGEAR, will cost you $600 as the entry level Omen X starts at $1800 while the higher end model will carry a $2,100.  HP is also releasing a 17.3inch Omen Desktop priced at $1,600 today along w/ new Omen accessories crafted by Steel Series.  The accessories are due out sometime next month.
