Google Pixel CThis is another conversation that we knew it was eventually going to happen and now its coming sooner rather than later.  That would be the merging of Google's Android & Chrome OS and becoming one hybrid OS.  The folks over at Android Police have unearthed a codename for it: Andromeda.  As far as how it will actually look/perform. we won't know at the moment but there is time for that intel to come to light.  

andromeda-mockupBut as far as what the new OS will ship on, there are talks of it being christened on the 3rd-gen 12.3inch Pixel laptop w/ stylus support, tablet mode, Intel M or i3 CPU, 8/16GB of RAM, 32/128GB of storage, 2 USB-C ports, glass trackpad, stereo speakers, quad mics, a backlit keyboard, and a 10-hour battery life.  Also set to arrive on a new Nexus tablet as well.  Huawei is supposed to be making it w/ a 7inch display and 4GB of RAM.  There are talks of the tablet launching before the end of the year.

The alleged launch of Andromeda is set to be sometime in Q3 of 2017.  So there might be a mention of it, don't expect it to be revealed at next week's Pixel event.
