With camera technologies getting better and every year every quarter, its gonna be a lot harder to store your photos/videos on your cameras. We already have 4K, 6K compressed to 4K, 8K, VR, and 360-degree video out in the market in some way shape of form. SanDisk looks to get us all ready for it.
They announced the ‘world’s first’ 1TB SD card in the form of their Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-1. The SD card is currently only in prototype form so there isn’t any pricing or availability for it at the moment. Be mindful that whenever ti does launch, it won’t be cheap. When they launched their 512GB SD card, it had a $300 price tag on it.
So who’s interested in this whenever it sees the light of day?
