Xiaomi’s associated camera brand Xiaoyi unveiled an interesting take on cameras. Meet the Xiaoyi M1 camera that starts at $330. It does resemble a Leica but it is not as it is a mirrorless camera w/ some interesting features on-board.
The M1 comes equipped w/ a 20MP Sony sensor capable of recording in 4K @30fps, 3inch touchscreen (720 x 480) display, can shoot up to 50MP photos, ISO up to 25,600, Bluetooth + Wi-Fi for sharing photos/video, and option for flash or electronic viewfinder.
For $330, you get a 12-40mm kit lens and for $450, you get a 42.5mm f/1.8 lens. The camera will be available on JD.com in China on September 23rd. No word on when it will make it to the states.
