We already talked about Google possibly making Android Wear 2.0 official sometime next month. New info suggests a date of the unveiling along w/ what wearables to expect – down to the specs. Thanks to the EvLeaks over at VentureBeat, we got everything we need to know.
We can expect Android Wear 2.0 is set to arrive on February 9th. Also, Google plans to launch 2 new smartwatches along w/ it as well. Google has partnered up w/ LG to bring forth the LG Watch Sport & LG Watch Style. Both will offer a circular OLED display, 4GB of storage, and Wi-Fi + Bluetooth. The Sport will offer LTE support, heart rate sensor, & GPS. Both smartwatches will more than likely be unveiled towards MWC in late February.
So depending on what these smartwatches look like and cost, you can always just update your current Android Wear smartwatch to v2.0 and not miss out on the fun. So who’s interested?
