Motorola made sure to be present at MWC this year and offer up the latest version of their G series of budget Android smartphones. Say hi to the Moto G5 & Moto G5 Plus. The G5 will be available globally as the G5 Plus will arrive in the US.
The G5 will offer a 5inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage expandable via microSD, a 13MP rear-facing + 5MP front-facing cameras, a fingerprint reader, and a 2800 mAh battery w/ Turbo Charging.
While the G5 Plus will offer a 5.2inch 1080p display, powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 CPU, choice of 2GB of RAM/32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage expandable via microSD, a f/1.7 12MP rear-facing camera w/ Dual autofocus Pixels + f/2.2 5MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint reader, and a 3000 mAh battery w/ Turbo Charging. All of this within an all-metal body.
Both will be running Android 7.0 and have a removable battery. The G5 will be priced at $200 while the G5 Plus starts at $229. Both will be available in March.
