Following up w/ the Xperia Xz2, Sony announced the Xperia XZ2 Premium armed w/ high-end specs to better compete w/ the more popular Android flagships.
The XZ2 Premium offers a 5.8inch 4K HDR LCD display, powered by a Snapdragon 845 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage expandable up to 400GB via microSD, running Android 8.0 Oreo, water-resistant body, USB-C, stereo speakers w/ multiple audio profiles, fingerprint reader on the rear, Bluetooth 5.0, headphone, and a 3540 mAh battery w/ Quick + wireless charging.
In regards to the cameras, we got a dual camera setup on the rear. We got a main f/1.8 Motion Eye RGB camera and a f/1.6 monochrome 12MP camera. The main sensor is capable of HDR photos, 4K HDR video, Bokeh effect, 960fps Super Slow Motion in 1080p and extreme low-light shooting w/ ISO up to 51200 for photos + ISO up to 12800 for video. On the front, we got a f/2.0 13MP selfie camera also capable of low-light shooting w/ ISO up to 3200 for photos + ISO up to 1600 for videos.
I can’t lie, I actually like this one. Even over the regular Xperia XZ2. No word on pricing but it will probably be ridiculously expensive. The XZ2 Premium us due out sometime this summer. Are you interested in holding out for this one?
