Google made sure to make its rounds to all of their apps. This time around we got Google Maps getting some new tricks to become more personal & more helpful.
So you have the new Explore tab that offer you everything to know about dining, events, & activity options nearby. All by checking out a location and the options will appear. Next up, we got group planning where you can create a list of places within Maps and share it among your friends. From there you can take a group vote on where to go.
Then, we got matches that recommends a place of interest based on probability & your patterns. So it will evolve & improve over time as the more you use it, the more of a match it will be. And lastly, we have AR mode which will help identify points of interest while in street view.
Google is making their native apps a lot more interesting thanks to machine learning & AI. These new features for Maps are set to arrive for the app later this year.
