Earlier this week, we got a better look at what Google’s Pixel 3 XL will actually look like.  No press renders, concepts, or anything else but an actual image of the device.  This image above is more than likely an early prototype of  the Pixel 3 XL – courtesy of the folks over XDA Developers

We see the front + back of the device as it shows off a few things thanks to not so blurry images & a boot menu.  So on the actual device, we see a notch w/ a possible dual camera setup on the front.  So we can anticipate some sort of new feature involving the front camera.  Maybe their take on AR Emojis/Memoji, I’m thinking.  The rear appears to be business as usual in regards to Pixel design – save for the glass rear. This could mean wireless charging but if it’s not Samsung fast, I don’t want it.

Now tot he boot menu, we see 4GB of RAM & 128GB of storage on this particular device.  We see baseband version of g845 as many are suggesting that it will be armed w/ a Snapdragon 845 CPU.  But this is version 1.0 of the prototype so this device as is may not be in its final form.

After using the G7 ThinQ, I’m a little less gung-ho against the notch.  Especially since all of these companies look to be implementing it within their phones over the next year or so.

After seeing the Pixel 3 XL, are you more excited or not interested?
