If you ever needed another reason to start going back to Dave & Buster’s, we got one for you. HTC Vive VR-based arcades are coming to the entertainment franchise very soon. This is all thanks to a partnership between Dave & Buster’s and HTC.
HTC will be supplying more than 500 Vive VR headsets to 114 of its arcades in the US & Canada this month. Most locations will get it on June 14th plus arrive w/ a new proprietary motion platform & exclusive content. Couple this w/ the Vive’s great VR experience w/ directional audio + haptic feedback, you’ll get a great overall futuristic time at the arcade.
I’ve been a huge fan of the HTC Vive as a VR solution/platform so I’m happy that this is getting utilized better for the masses. So this is the perfect opportunity for people to experience – for those who have yet to do so.
