So remember when we told you that AT&T is giving those w/ their grandfathered unlimited data plan a price increase? Last week, T-Mobile promptly responded w/ the WTH (Why The Hike) deal to lure the disgruntled AT&T customers over to them.
This offer is specifically for those on the AT&T grandfathered unlimited plan who own an iPhone on 4G LTE w/ a Visual Voicemail plan. You’ll be able to keep your current phone number, get a $250 prepaid card, and get up to $650 via trade-in credit w/ Carrier Freedom to go to an unlimited T-Mobile One plan. So you can get up to $900 for jumping ship to T-Mo. Not only that, you’ll be able to stack the WTH deal w/ current offers to sweeten the deal and get a new phone w/o having to pay it all upfront.
T-Mo’s WTH deal kicks off this week on June 20th. With all that T-Mo is offering to jump ship, it would be hard to not do it or at least consider it. This being the 3rd increase over the course of 2 years.
