Yesterday, Shinola announced their 2nd-gen set of bookshelf speakers in partnership w/ Barefoot Sound. FYI: Shinola is a watch/lifestyle company based out of Detroit and Barefoot Sound is a speaker company based out of Portland, Oregon where the speakers are assembled/tested.
So inside you got a 1.5inch soft dome tweeter & a 6.5inch woofer in a metal cast basket capable of 100 watts per channel & up to 300 watts total. So along w/ 3.5mm + RCA options, they’ve added S/PDIF, USB-C, & Bluetooth inputs into the mix. This collaboration won’t be cheap but won’t cost as much as other bookshelf speakers though. These have a $1,500 price tag on them per pair.
So if you’re looking for some high-end bookshelf speakers w/ Bluetooth abilities to add into your home, these might be what you’re looking for.
