As we get closer to the Galaxy Note 9 event next month, there’s even more info coming out on what more we might expect to be unveiled that day.   We talked about the possibility of a Bixby-powered speaker and we may see it next month as well.

So according to the Wall Street Journal, the previously-rumored Bixby smart speaker is said to offer a $300 price point and join the Note 9 on stage in a few weeks.  It is supposed to have a bowled shape w/ a legged bottom and lights on the top of it.  It is said to offer a feature called ‘sound shifting’ where the audio can be beamed in the direction of the person speaking.  It will be marketed as a premium speaker 1st w/ smart features.

Now Bixby isn’t the most favorite digital assistant as even Siri is championed more even though Bixby probably does more.  Like you can post to IG using it as other digital assistants can not.  So despite its bad rap, Bixby isn’t useless as the Internet may make it seem.  Bixby does have a great ecosystem in place – but not on the mobile (smartphone) side of things.  Samsung almost it where Bixby can talk to other Samsung products like refrigerators, TVs, SmartThings smart home products, and more.

So if it looks good enough and the sound quality is good, would you pick this up?
